Each team tried to throw a ball in the container with increasing points as you move further back. They proposed innovative strategies and patented their ideas, one of them being a human centipede. We learnt about innovation, IP, teamwork, and had so much fun!

Today we had the privilege of meeting Dave Margulius, former CEO and Co-Founder of Quizlet. We really enjoyed hearing about his story of starting Quizlet, his advice for founders, and his new interest in climate change innovations. Dave Margulius co-founded Quizlet in 2007 and served as CEO during its formative years, helping establish the company as both a unicorn and a staple in everyday education. Prior to Quizlet, Dave worked with other successful startups, such as Netscape, Evite, and Boston.com. Dave has since shifted his focus to climate change, raising awareness through his blog and Twitter account.

TOMORROW β¨π« Vinod Khosla is a legend in both the VC and startup space, having built a multi-billion dollar company in SUN Microsystems that redefined computing in the 80’s. He then took on the tech monopolies of the 90’s by investing and developing tech startups as a general partner at Kleiner Perkins. Following his successful efforts toward disruption in formerly sluggish industries, Vinod formed Khosla Ventures to focus on both for-profit and social impact investments. As the leader of his own firm, he has invested in several clean-tech companies and is recognized for investing early in unicorns including Square, DoorDash, Impossible Foods, Affirm, Instacart, Stripe, and more.
