Submission Instructions
Submitting Entries
The Social E-Challenge utilizes a website called YouNoodle as a platform for handling entries. YouNoodle develops innovative ways to bring together the information, people, and technology that help startups succeed. Its platform is used by 50 of the world’s top university entrepreneurship clubs.
1. Create an account at www.younoodle.com and create an account for your venture idea.
2. Go to the Social E-Challenge Competition 2009 page and click on ‘Submit an Entry’ below the logo image.
3. Select your venture and click ‘Submit’.
Formatting Documents
Please follow the following formatting guidelines to ease in judging and ensuring a fair competition.
Executive Summary
- Up to 2 pages in length. No cover page required.
- Name your document “team_name.executive_summary”. Replaces spaces with underscores.
- Submit a .pdf or .doc file. No .docx file formats accepted.
- Times New Roman, 11 – 12 pt. font size is preferred. If using a different font, the font-size should be similar to 11 – 12 pt. Times New Roman. Lines should be double-spaced.
- Include primary contact name, address, phone number, and e-mail.
Business Plan
- Maximum of 20 pages. Up to 5 additional pages can be used for appendices, but you will be directly judged on what information is included in the first 20 pages. Judges will not be asked or expected to read anything above 25 pages in total.
- Name your documents “team_name.business_plan” and “team_name.presentation”. Replace spaces with underscores.
- Submit a .pdf or .doc file for the business plan and a .ppt or .pdf file for the presentation. No .docx or .pptx file formats accepted.
- Times New Roman, 11 – 12 pt. font size is preferred. If using a different font, the font-size should be similar to 11 – 12 pt. Times New Roman. Lines should be double-spaced.
- Include primary contact name, address, phone number, and e-mail.
