Career Services

Career Services’ goal is to connect passionate students with a wide range of companies who are seeking talented individuals. Our strong partnership with Stanford’s Career Development Center and the Computer Forum, as well as our established reputation within the start-up community allows BASES to be one of the definitive job resources for the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Job Board

Started in 1997, the Job Board serves both start-ups searching for talent as well as students interested in business and technology. Over the years, the Job Board has thrived because of its simplicity and effectiveness. New startup companies under 20 people can post job opportunities for $1 each and reach out to the entire BASES community, including Stanford students and its surrounding community members. BASES Fall Career Fair (November 20, 2008)

The BASES Fall Career Fair is a new initiative in 2008 in collaboration with the Career Development Center and Medtech Career Fair to help Silicon Valley startups hire in the Fall Quarter. This fair took place on November 20, 2008 at Tresidder Memorial Union.

BASES Technology & Entrepreneruship Career Fair (January 15, 2009)

The BASES Technology & Entrepreneurship Career Fair offers an especially intimate setup for interactions between Stanford students and 50 technology-oriented companies in early Winter Quarter recruiting season.

This BASES Technology & Entrepreneurship Career Fair will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 11AM to 4PM on the Sequoia Plaza Lawn at Stanford University. To register, please click here for instructions.

Startup 101 Career Fair (February 24, 2009)

The Startup 101 Entrepreneur Career Fair is Stanford’s largest annual on-campus career fairs organized by BASES in collaboration with the Career Development Center and other student organizations. We are inviting 101 companies to join us at this exciting, highly publicized, startup-focused career event.

The Startup 101 Entrepreneur Career Fair will take place on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from noon to 4 PM at the Tressider Memorial Union at Stanford University. To register, please click here for instructions.

BASES/CDC Spring Career Fair (April 15-16, 2009)

Co-hosted with Stanford’s Career Development Center, the Spring Career Fair is the largest recruiting event of the Spring Quarter. Past fairs have drawn over 70 companies and have had over 700 students in attendence. The Spring Career Fair will take place over two days, with the first day dedicated to technology-focused companies, and the second day featuring companies seeking liberal arts students.

The 2009 BASES / CDC Spring Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 and Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 12pm – 4pm at Tresidder Memorial Union at Stanford University. Registration will open closer to the event.
