The Social Entrepreneurship Challenge is a business plan competition for entrepreneurial ventures that effect social change.
Participants range from For-profit businesses with a strong sense of social responsibility
to Nonprofits with sustainable revenue-generation models.
These companies all have a positive impact on our society and the environment.
The Social E-Challenge provides participants with $50,000 in final round prizes,
as well as the resources and training to launch their startups:
mixers, workshops, mentorship, and individual feedback from renowned judges.

E-Challenge is BASES’ flagship business plan competition that is held annually during the Winter and Spring quarters and is open to students from all disciplines at Stanford. E-Challenge seeks to develop the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing a structured environment where participants can develop their ideas and skills, and interact with world-class judges and mentors. E-Challenge Participants will receive feedback from several leading Venture Capitals and entrepreneurs in three rounds of judging and are provided guidance through multiple workshops. The competition will award a total $50,000 of prize money to the winning teams.
Past winners include T-Ram, Voltage Security, and Ingenuity Systems.
