BASES organized the first of many quarterly e-Mixers at The 750 last Wednesday, 11/5. We brought almost 100 people to The 750 for a great night of networking with other Stanford entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs. Our keynote speakers for the night were Sean Knapp (’03, ‘04 co-term) and Belsasar Lepe (’09), 2/3 of the original founders of video platform startup, Ooyala. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a successful event. The vision for the event came from our counterpart at Berkeley, cleverly called ST@B (STartup @ Berkeley). ST@B periodically organized mixers that brought entrepreneurs together around Berkeley and created a very tight-knit group over at Cal, and we wanted to do the same at Stanford. Our next event will take place in late January during Winter Quarter, and we promise to improve and make the event even smoother. Again, we welcome all students from graduate and undergrduate schools as well as those you in the area who made your way on campus that night to come back and join us for the next one! Enjoy the pictures from the event below…
